Apparently, "We conservatives support the troops, and you liberals don't" now actually means "we conservatives are going to break enlistment commitments made to wounded soldiers and try to steal the sign-up bonus we promised them."

Yes, unbelievable. I wonder why I still feel stunned by news like this when we've had a steady diet of it since 2000(at least)?
